All proceeds from the event will benefit Women and Children’s Services at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman.
“As a member of this community, I am so thankful for the prenatal care provided by Texas Health Kaufman to the underserved women in the area,” said Norma Fortner, chair of the 2013 gala. “We are so appreciative of the support each year and ask that you join us as we support this vital cause.”
A few items up for bid during the live auction include a five-course dinner for 10 with wine pairing at the home of Iron Chef America winner Kent Rathbun; a vacation villa in Tulum, Mexico; and a rodeo suite in the Mesquite Arena. Attendees can also purchase shimmering treasure boxes for a chance to win a $1,000 gift card, family portrait packages, dinner for two at local restaurants and spa pedicures, among other prizes.
Last year’s Black Tie Ball netted $55,000, bringing the gala’s five-year fundraising total to more than $222,000.
Individual tickets can be purchased for $175. For more information, contact Pat Jackson at 972-932-7394 or visit TexasHealth.org/BlackTieBall.
