Texas Health Allen Employee Named 'Top 25 Rad Tech' Winner|
ALLEN, Texas — One of this year’s Top 25 Radiologic Technologists in North Texas is from Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen.
Jeff Stowe, lead MRI technologist at Texas Health Allen, was recognized for his outstanding work inside and outside of the hospital by the North Texas Radiologic Technologist Society (NTRTS). He is among a select group of radiology technologists in the North Texas region to be named to the NTRTS' Top 25 list.
"Jeff is a role model for other technologists," said Greg Pipes, director of Radiology at Texas Health Allen. "We are extremely proud of him for winning this award and his commitment and dedication to advancing quality, safety and patient care at Texas Health Allen."
All candidates had to exceed in the following categories:
- Overall job performance
- Special efforts
- Special recognition
- Community, civic and professional involvement
Stowe, a Texas native, grew up in Amarillo and holds a degree from South Plains College in Lubbock. He has worked at Texas Health Allen since 2006.

A special awards luncheon for the Top 25 North Texas Radiologic Technologists will be held on Nov. 9 at the Hyatt Regency North Dallas.
