THR Hospitals Land 20 on List of Great 100 Nurses|
ARLINGTON, Texas — Twenty nurses from Texas Health Resources will be honored as Great 100 Nurses for 2003 at an awards ceremony in Dallas. The event is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. April 23 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
The Great 100 Nurses recognition is sponsored by Districts 3 and 4 of the Texas Nurses Association, encompassing Dallas, Tarrant and other North Texas counties.
Nurses from Arlington Memorial Hospital, Harris Methodist Erath County Hospital, Harris Methodist Fort Worth Hospital, Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital, Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital, Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and Presbyterian Hospital of Plano are among those chosen.
The nurses are selected from registered nurses considered role models and who make a significant difference in nursing, their hospital and the lives of patients, peers and their community, according to the nursing association.
