AMH Laugh Patrol on KTVT-TV

The Laugh Patrol at Arlington Memorial Hosptial, a group of AMH employees who volunteer their time monthly to visit patients in the hospital, was featured on KTVT-TV (Channel 11). An extended story on the group is slated to air on Thanksgiving Day. Clowns Poki Dot (Peggy Murphree, director of social services) and Good Mornin' (physical therapist Cheryl Till) brought cheer and smiles to patients in the Oncology Care Unit.


A story about minimally invasive heart surgery performed at Arlington Memorial Hospital by Dr. Darien Bradford, a cardiothoratic surgeon on the hospital's medical staff, is anticipated to run on KDFW-TV (Channel 4). Bradford was the first surgeon in Tarrant County to perform the surgery, conducted earlier this year.

PHD's Maitre in Dallas Business Journal

The current edition of the Dallas Business Journal includes the announcement that Deb Maitre, director of women’s and infants’ services at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, has received the Nursing Spectrum/NurseWeek Excellence Award in Management. Maitre is one of only six winners nationwide.
