New inpatient rehab hospital announcement in DMN
Today’s Dallas Morning News print edition reported that Texas Health Resources and Methodist Health System, in partnership with Centerre Healthcare Corp., plan to build a freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Arlington, Texas. The joint ventured hospital, Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington, will break ground in summer 2014.
DallasChild features Texas Health Plano and Dallas
The February issue of DallasChild magazine named Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas the Best Place to Have a Baby in Collin and Dallas County, respectively. Dr. Dhiman Basu, a rheumatologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford and at North Hills Rheumatology, a Texas Health Physicians Group practice, was quoted in a story on the website of ADDISON – The Magazine of the North Dallas Corridor. Texas Health Fort Worth CVICU nurse’s life-saving efforts featured in Cleburne Times-Review
An article in the Cleburne Times Review features Lauren Easter, cardiovascular ICU nurse at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. While off duty, Easter performed life-saving CPR and defibrillation with a Cresson volunteer firefighter at the scene of a car accident in Benbrook when Tim Grubb suffered a heart attack while driving.
