Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen was featured in a Sept. 24 Allen American article about uterine fibroid embolization, a minimally invasive procedure that offers a non-surgical alternative to a hysterectomy and eases excessive menstrual bleeding caused by fibroid tumors. Dr. Adrian Moger, a vascular and interventional radiologist on the hospital’s medical staff, was quoted.

Texas Health Kaufman in The Mabank Monitor

The Mabank Monitor recently published a story about laparoscopic hysterectomies at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman. The article highlighted Dr. Michael Glover, an OB-GYN on the Texas Health Kaufman medical staff who is the first physician to perform the procedure at the hospital. The story also included interviews with radiology manager Teresa Grimes, a patient of Glover’s, and Susan Stone, R.N., CNOR, director of surgical services at Texas Health Kaufman.
