Springwood Physician Discusses Stress with Channel 33 Tonight

We anticipate that Hadi Tajani, M.D., chair of psychiatry at Harris Methodist Springwood Hospital, the mental health and addiction treatment facility at Harris Methodist H-E-B Hospital, will appear tonight on Channel 33 during the 9 p.m. newscast.

Tajani discusses symptoms of stress and how to cope with them.

Star Telegram, Cleburne Times-Review Feature HMWR

Harris Methodist Walls Regional Hospital employees and a volunteer and physician were recognized in the media this week. The Star-Telegram recognized Melody Ball, a clinical education specialist at Harris Methodist Walls Regional Hospital, for her work in the Congo. The paper also recognized Dianne Applegate as HMWR’s volunteer of the year, Debbie Palmer, R.N., C.E.N., risk manager and patient safety coordinator, as the manager of excellence and Linda Cook, a housekeeper, was named employee of the year.

The Cleburne Times Review recognized Harris Methodist Walls Regional Hospital medical staff member, Dr. Mike White, in a story about National Cholesterol Education Month.

Amy McCall, marketing manager for Harris Methodist HEB Hospital and Arlington Memorial Hospital, shared the news of the new Texas Health Resources brand at the HEB Chamber of Commerce State of the Cities breakfast yesterday. ON Magazine Features Article on PHP's New Radiation Oncology Center

Presbyterian Hospital of Plano's new Radiation Oncology Center is profiled in an article in the most recent issue of ON magazine. Featured in a photo and quoted in the story are Carinsa Gaston, PHP's oncology program manager; Dr. Greg Echt, the center's medical director; and Dr. Neeraja Dasari, a radiation oncologist at the center.

An online video created by Restaurants & Institutions magazine features Presbyterian Hospital of Plano as a recipient of the restaurant industry's prestigious Ivy Award. PHD Interventional Cardiologists Beam Live Cases to International Conference

Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas was one of only a handful of medical centers in the United States to broadcast live interventional cases this week to the prestigious Vascular InterVentional Advances conference in Las Vegas, Nev. The VIVA conference annually educates over 1,000 physicians and medical personnel on the latest advances in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease. Drs. Tony Das, James Park and Kenneth Saland demonstrated cases from the cardiac cath lab at PHD. Meredith Ratliff, a registered dietitian at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, was recently featured in two different stories on DallasNews.com, the Web site of The Dallas Morning News.
