HMHEB Hospital President Named a Fellow in the ACHE

BEDFORD, Texas — Kirk King, president of Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital recently earned the status of Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

To become a fellow, King had to complete a three year tenure as an ACHE member or Diplomat, complete a post baccalaureate degree, hold a health care management position for at least five years, exhibit leadership both in professional and civic organizations, complete 40 hours of continuing education credits over the past five years and pass a comprehensive board of governor's examination in health care management.

King exceeded the requirements, having served as an ACHE Diplomat since 1996 and worked in health care management since 1987. His fellow status is a hallmark credential signifying King's extensive health care experience, commitment to leadership and knowledge of health care administration.
