Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital will host a free Cancer Survivors Day celebration on June 1

BEDFORD, Texas - Anyone who has fought and survived cancer can tell you of the special bonds between cancer patients - they provide hope and encouragement when times are tough and rejoice when the battle is won.

To celebrate Cancer Survivors Day, Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital will host a celebration Sunday, June 1 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Edwards Cancer Center Atrium, located on the hospital campus at 1600 Hospital Parkway in Bedford. The event will feature food, fun and prizes.

This year’s guest speaker will be magician and motivational speaker David Hira. The event is free to the public and no reservation is required. For more information, please call 817-685-2000. Harris Methodist H•E•B Hospital is dedicated to treating the whole person — body, mind and spirit — through community programs such as Cancer Survivors Day.
