CLEBURNE, Texas – Harris Methodist Walls Regional Hospital’s laboratory department recently was reaccredited by The College of American Pathologists’ Laboratory Accreditation Program.
“We are proud of the quality work our laboratory staff does each day and the great results from our survey reinforce that fact,” hospital president Blake Kretz said.
The department recently began using new equipment that will enable laboratory workers to get more detailed results for pulmonary tests and antibiotics. “The equipment will enable us to provide a broader array of services as we continue to grow the laboratory department,” said lab manager David Young.
Medical Director Arthur Raines, M.D., said he was proud of the team’s effort in the recent accreditation inspection.
“We hold our team to high standards and our recent accreditation inspection results are a testament to the consistency and proficiency of our team,” he said.
