Advances in Epilepsy Treatment
Epilepsy, also called a seizure disorder, is a medical condition that produces seizures affecting a variety of mental and physical functions. A seizure happens when a brief, strong surge of electrical activity affects part or all of the brain. One in 10 adults will have a seizure sometime during their life.

Please join Dr. Jay Harvey, an epileptologist on the medical staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, as he discusses the latest in epilepsy treatment including new anticonvulsant medications. The event will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 17 in the Fogelson Forum at Texas Health Dallas.
