Play the 'Moms Rule' Game for a Year of Free Groceries or Diapers
04/12/2011

DENTON, Texas — Moms Rule at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton and the Texas Health Resources hospital system wants to recognize the important role Moms play. Texas Health created a “Moms Rule” sweepstakes for hard-working Moms to play for a chance to win a year of free groceries or diapers and other prizes.

Texas Health created a website, TexasHealth.org/Moms to serve as a comprehensive resource for Moms of all life stages, from those wanting to conceive to experienced moms with busy families.

Through April 18, individuals may log onto the website and play a Moms word game or share their favorite Moms phrase. Moms can also request a Healthy Woman Kit or a Healthy Kids kit to receive tips for staying healthy from Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton. By playing the game, sharing a phrase, or requesting a kit, individuals are entered into the Moms Rule Sweepstakes. The grand prize is a year of free groceries or diapers. Other prizes include an iPad, Flip Video camera, a stroller and a car seat.

“The Texas Health Moms website is a great resource for women in our community,” said Stan Morton, president at Texas Health Denton. “The site is designed to be a one-stop resource for Moms to find trusted health information and also to find other Moms in their community with which to interact.”

The Moms site offers information about infertility, pregnancy, breastfeeding, baby care, and health tips for kids of all ages. There are also sections on nutrition and fitness, including tools for cooking healthy recipes. Moms-to-be can sign up for a pregnancy newsletter with information specific to Texas Health Denton or request a Healthy Pregnancy Kit. Information on finding a physician is also available. A blog on the site also offers stories of Moms in the trenches.
