Title   Oocyte (Egg) Cryopreservation for Fertility Preservation (Fertility)
Description   This study is for patients requesting cryopreservation (freezing) of their oocytes (eggs) prior to medical procedures which may render them infertile (for example, radiation or chemotherapy treatments for cancer).

Inclusion/Notes   INCLUSION:
  • Females who are 44 years of age or younger and wish to preserve their future fertility for any of the following reasons:
  • Women with medical indications such as cancer or autoimmune disorders prior to undergoing treatments that may render them infertile (chemotherapy or radiation).

  • To defer reproductive aging.

  • Primarily women 40 or younger (ideally 35 or younger) who wish to preserve their fertility for delayed childbearing.

  • Women between the ages of 40-44 will undergo ovarian reserve testing prior to enrollment to ensure they have a reasonable chance of retrieving sufficient oocytes for success with oocyte cryopreservation.

  • Women with a family history of premature ovarian failure (POF) or premature menopause.

  • IVF patients with religious or ethical concerns with freezing or discarding embryos.

  • IVF patients where the male partner is not able to produce a semen specimen on the day of oocyte retrieval.

  • For anonymous egg donation.

EXCLUSION:
  • Women older than 44 years of age.
