Comparsion between serum C-reactive Protein (CRP) concentrations and Erythrocytes Sedimentation Rate (ESR) in Adults with Suspected Inflammation
The purpose of this study is to conduct a retrospective analysis of ESR and CRP results in patients at THD in whom these tests were performed simultaneously (defined as on the same calendar day during 2010 or 2011).
Male and Female age 18 and above.
Inpatient and outpatient.
Simultaneous (same day) CRP and ESR measurement in patients with clinically suspected inflammation by physician ordering test.
Measurement of highly sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) instead of standard, inflammatory CRP.
