Recipients of Advanced Age Undergoing Oocyte Donation have Poorer Clinical Outcome (Vitro Fertilization)
Controversy exists whether recipient age has an impact on the reproductive success of a couple undergoing oocyte donation. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of recipient age on implantation, clinical pregnancy and live births.
Review of data prospectively collected over a period of 6 years.
Recipient couples (n=625) undergoing oocyte donation were used in this study.
Males with epididymal, testicular, or frozen sperm and oocyte donors >34 years of age were excluded.
