Benign breast disease represents a range of disorders that come to a clinician’s attention as imaging abnormalities or as palpable lesions found on physical examination. Following a benign diagnosis, treatment is aimed at symptomatic relief and patient education.  Some benign breast diseases point to an increase in the patient's future risk of developing breast cancer and should lead to counseling about screening recommendations and risk reduction strategies.

This conference will review the pathologic classification, management of benign breast disorders, and the evaluation of patients symptoms related to the breast and diagnosis of breast disorders.

This conference has been designed for physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals involved in screening, diagnosis, and management of breast disease. It is beneficial for public health officials, administrators and other professionals in administrative management to attend. Topics presented in this conference will enhance the participants’ information base, improve clinical capabilities, and increase therapeutic options.

The registration fee is $79 for physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals until April 18, 2014.  After April 18, 2014, the fee will increase to $129 for all. Click here to register for the conference.
