Sports Cardiology/Exercise Medicine Clinic
The Sports Cardiology/Exercise Medicine Clinic has the unique ability to measure how much air the lungs can move, as well as how much blood the heart can pump, during exercise. Our physician scientists use precise measurement data to identify mechanisms by which exercise performance may be limited, or improved, in individuals.
Our Focus
The major focus of the Sports Cardiology/Exercise Medicine Clinic is the determination of how changes in heart and/or lung function, along with aging and/or obesity, lead to shortness of breath and reduced exercise capacity.
Our Services
The Sports Cardiology/Exercise Medicine Clinic ambulatory services include tailored exercise testing for individual athletes, peak VO2 testing, performance evaluation, echocardiography, as well as long term cardiac rhythm monitoring.
