PROSPER, Texas — Texas Health Neighborhood Care & Wellness Prosper, a part of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, was recently selected as the Prosper Chamber of Commerce Large Business of the Year.

This recognition highlights Texas Health Prospers' contributions to local schools and businesses as well as paving the way for numerous community expansions.
"I strongly believe this award is not just a reflection of the work that Texas Health Prosper has done for the town but also recognition of the overall impact our organization has within the community," said Rendell Gazzingan, administrator at Texas Health Prosper.
In addition, the award honored Texas Health Prosper for setting the standard of how large businesses should be run and interact with their local community.
For several years, Texas Health Prosper has been the title sponsor for the annual Christmas Festival and held an annual donation drive with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Bethlehelm Place, a food pantry serving families in Prosper and surrounding areas. Employees have also served as a health care resource for the local school district by volunteering at numerous career fairs and symposiums.
