ARLINGTON, Texas — Texas Health Resources is one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2024 earning five stars — the highest rating presented by Newsweek and the data firm Plant-A Insights Group for organizations with 5,000-plus employees.
This honor highlights companies that are building strong work environments for employees, including women, LGBTQ+, veterans and people beginning their careers, according to Newsweek. This is the second year that Newsweek has published this recognition. Texas Health earned four stars in Newsweek’s 2023 list.
“Texas Health is the place to do your life’s best work,” said Barclay Berdan, FACHE, Texas Health’s chief executive officer. “We are committed to caring for our communities and each other to improve health and well-being across North Texas.”
Texas Health employees have access to a well-rounded selection of health and wellness programs. Employees also get a generous 401(k) program with company match, paid time off and paid time off to volunteer in their communities.
Texas Health continually works to implement programs that uplift the mind, body and spirit, so employees can thrive in a caring community. Employees are also encouraged to speak up, share best practices and contribute ideas on opportunities to improve.
“We are continually working to provide benefits and resources to enable our employees to succeed,” said Carla Dawson, chief people officer, Texas Health. “Our benefits portfolio meets employees’ professional, personal and family needs, and we actively cultivate an inclusive workplace with opportunities for growth.”
America's Greatest Workplaces 2024 is determined through a large-scale, independent survey of employees who work for companies employing at least 500 people in the United States.
Participants provide feedback and assess individual statements regarding their employment experience across various companies.
In April, Texas Health made Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For® list at No. 29 — the highest ranking among health systems recognized in 2024. This is the 10th consecutive year Texas Health has been recognized with this nationwide honor.
Texas Health also recently ranked No. 3 among Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Texas™ and named one of Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women 2024.
