With the prolonged COVID-19 surge, our caregivers across North Texas continue their battle for us and our community. They care for the sick, the weak, the vulnerable. These selfless heroes have made endless sacrifices for almost a year to care for their patients. To care for all of us.
Texas Health is right there with you. But we also need you right there with us.
Perhaps the best people to share the message of what we need from the community, of what staff in hospitals and clinics and physician practices fight every day, are the men and women of Texas Health, whom I am so proud to represent.
Please don’t give in to pandemic fatigue. Stay home. Avoid gatherings. Wear a mask.
We can all make safe and responsible choices. We can encourage our friends, families, colleagues and community members to do the same. If you’re tired of telling people to wash their hands, tell them about the caregivers. Listen to the exhausted voices of the men and women who show up every day to care for all North Texans.
