Luxury suites at Texas Health Dallas provide a comfortable, hotel-like experience.
In September, the Margot Perot Center for Women and Infants at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas celebrated 40 years of service to the North Texas community. Since 1983, the Perot Center has provided exceptional care to moms-to-be, mothers, infants, daughters, sisters, and grandmothers. Each year, 5,000 babies are born and 175,000 patients are cared for at the nationally recognized facility.
“Bringing new lives into the world is one of the ways we serve North Texans,” said Chris York, FACHE, president of Texas Health Dallas. “We are so privileged to be part of a family’s most joyous moments and want to be their trusted healthcare partner for life.”
This month, the Perot Center unveils its refreshed look following a two-year, $60 million renovation. Updates include upgraded technology in operating rooms and modern designs on patient floors and public areas, including the inpatient post-surgical unit, triage unit, postpartum unit, concierge suites, elevators and entrances. The renovation is part of Texas Health Dallas’ effort to better serve North Texas communities.
The Perot Center is a Level IV maternal care facility, offering advanced care from early pregnancy to labor and beyond. The facility also has a Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), treating and caring for premature or critically ill babies.
