
Community Hope
770 victims of sexual assault found compassionate support dealing with this awful crime through the SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) program.
The Wellness for Life® Mobile Health unit provided 3,157 mammograms and visited 333 locations to provide health screening services.
THRIVE, which provides healthy food and mental health support, expanded to 3 additional schools, serving 1,499 students across North Texas. In 2024, schools with the THRIVE program experienced decreased food insecurity, increased GPAs, a 25% decrease in disciplinary referrals, and a 26% decrease in the discipline population.
The Health to Home medical respite program, in collaboration with Austin Street Center, served 93 people who were ill and struggling with homelessness. Of those, 24 went on to find a home with the help of the resources available at the Center.
Patient Care
The renovated Margot Perot Center at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas saw 4,399 births in 2024, and 1,796 of those received neonatal services.
In 2024 the Jane and John Justin Tower at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth served 8,485 patients.
Generous gifts allowed expanded research on Pulmonary Health and Women’s Heart Health through the Institute of Exercise and Environmental Medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.


Education
Allied Health and Nursing Scholarships provided educational opportunities for 302 care givers with more than $753,383 awarded in 2024.
Schwartz Rounds, which help provide a safe space to discuss the social and emotional experiences of our physicians and nurses, offered 53 sessions across Texas Health.
In 2024 the Career Pathways program, which helps people enter the medical field in entry-level jobs, graduated 34 Medical Assistants, 13 Pharmacy Technicians, 7 Patient Care Technicians, and 4 Imagine Computed Tomography Technicians.
General
The 365 Fund allows us to meet the greatest needs at our hospitals to provide life-changing patient care and support our care team. These gifts support Schwartz Rounds and other staff education programs. In 2024, gifts to the 365 Fund also supported Texas Health Graduate Medical Program research awards, chaplain care for employees, Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine (IEEM) research, a first-year nursing catalyst program, and so much more.
The N.E.A.T. (Nutrition, Exercise, and Attitudes for Tomorrow) program offers oncology patients free exercise classes, health, and wellness coaching, and a one-year membership to a Texas Health fitness center served 115 people.
