The Amon G. Carter Medical Simulation Training Center was specifically designed to serve Physicians, Medical Residents (GME Programs), Nursing Staff, Emergency Medical Services (EMTs & Paramedics), Respiratory Therapists, Chaplains, hospital staff, and High School Vocational Students with dedicated facilities, equipment, and simulator personnel. The 5,452 square foot facility is the only center in Fort Worth that offers clinical care teams the opportunity to practice delivering care in four different clinical settings such as, pre-hospital, emergency medicine, surgery, and inpatient.
This is done by providing the unique simulation settings:
- Stationary Ambulance
- Emergency Resuscitation Room
- Surgical Suite
- Inpatient/Multipurpose Room
The Simulation Training Center also focuses on community outreach; working with local schools, fire departments and Emergency Medical Services agencies. In doing so, we are fulfilling the Texas Health mission, “To improve the health of the people in the communities we serve.”
