Finding balance as a new mom isn’t always easy. Texas Health has a number of resources and events to help support moms as they get acclimated to life with a new baby.
Classes and Support Groups
Texas Health has a number of classes and support groups to help support new moms.
  • Mommy Mixers

    Mommy Mixers allow moms to meet other new mothers who are experiencing the same celebrations and frustrations all new moms encounter. The group offers encouragement and support and is an avenue to make new friends.

  • Breastfeeding Support Groups

    The Breastfeeding Support Groups are led by a facilitator who serves as a resource to the new moms to help them reach their breastfeeding goals.

  • Mom and Baby Yoga Fitness

    An instructor will lead the class through various aerobic and toning exercises. This class creates a unique and fun way to bond with other new moms in the community.

  • Postpartum Support Groups

    Join others to connect in a safe space to discuss the highs and lows of motherhood, physical recovery from birth, the importance of self-care, help with the baby blues and more.
