For more than 20 years, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen has faithfully served the community. As the City of Allen grew from 45,000 residents to more than 100,000, Texas Health Allen grew too.

With a focus on the health and well-being of our neighbors, Texas Health Allen has expanded services, added new physicians on the medical staff and renovated spaces to meet growing demand for medical services.

“Allen now has over 100,000 residents and the surrounding communities are growing rapidly,” said Amanda Thrash, FACHE, president of Texas Health Allen. “I am proud to say that Texas Health Allen has matched that growth. Residents can receive high quality compassionate care close to home.”

Texas Health Allen serves patients from Allen, Lucas, Fairview, Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Wylie, Parker, Murphy and other surrounding Collin County cities.

At Texas Health Allen, patients can find medical services for a wide spectrum of needs – from heart and vascular care to maternal and neonatal care during birth to orthopedic care after a sports injury.

“Our comprehensive heart and vascular capabilities allow us to take care of you from initial event to recovery, with our cardiac and electrophysiology labs and cardiac rehabilitation programs,” Thrash said. “This is an example of how we focus on providing safe, high-quality care for our patients.”

Texas Health Allen is a primary stroke center with a dedicated stroke care unit, highly trained neuro nurses and therapists who take care of patients with stroke symptoms.

Recent expansions at the full-service hospital include a $68-million patient care tower and the Texas Health Athlete Complex. At the complex, sports medicine physicians on the medical staff and sports medicine therapists can help patients recover in one location.

Texas Health Allen is focused on offering a continuum of care for orthopedic and spine patients – from minimally invasive and robotic orthopedic and spine surgery to compassionate and personalized inpatient care to outpatient therapy.

“We want the patients who enter Texas Health Allen to feel safe and that they know they are being cared for by compassionate professionals,” said Robert A. Schwab, M.D., Chief Medical Officer at Texas Health Allen. “We are partnering with our patients for a lifetime of care and well-being.”
