Your baby is closing in on 6 months! Speech may still be on the distant horizon for your baby, but speaking and interacting with her may help her language development.
One way to do this is to read to your baby, no matter how young. He will enjoy sitting on your lap looking at pictures, hearing your voice and watching you turn the pages. Young children especially love to hear the same story over and over again.
