Your baby is quickly gaining control of his arms and legs, getting ready to sit, crawl and walk in coming months. Give him or her lots of time to practice on a blanket on the floor when he’s wide awake and ready for fun.
Playtime on his tummy helps him develop physical strength and motor skills. (If your baby falls asleep on his tummy, be sure to turn him over onto his back.)
For playtime on her back, safety-approved play gyms, with bright objects that move when your baby bats them, will keep her happily exploring for long periods.
