Does your toddler act up in public, especially at times when you really want and need her to behave?
Remind yourself of your child’s young age and try the following:
- Have reasonable expectations. She can’t sit still for long, and she’ll need to be well-fed and rested.
- Prepare your child for where you will be and how you want him to behave.
- Bring a snack, toys or books to keep her from getting bored and restless.
- Be ready to leave if his behavior is too disruptive.
