It may sound simple, but putting on some music and dancing with your toddler helps to make important brain connections.
So sing a song or put on your favorite CD and dance. It doesn’t have to be music created specifically for children to be fun and valuable for their development.
Dancing to music also encourages the development of toddlers’ motor skills. Bouncing to the beat helps them practice coordinating their limbs and motions.
