Is your child a daring risk-taker? Does she stand on top of the coffee table, try to climb up your stove or run to the bottom of the slide while others are coming down?
It’s all normal behavior for a curious, energetic and adventurous toddler.
Your job is to monitor the surroundings to make sure your child can explore safely. Find places where she can roam safely. Stay by his side to guide and protect him in areas that might pose some risk.
Survey your home regularly to make sure you’ve done enough childproofing. As your child grows and is more able to reach or get into potentially dangerous places that you may not have thought of, make adjustments.
