ROCKWALL, Texas — Texas Health Resources opened a Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care™ facility in Rockwall. Breeze Urgent Care offers patients fast, convenient and personalized care with upscale amenities and transparent, affordable pricing.
The Rockwall facility is one of 22 Breeze Urgent Care centers that have opened since the model launched in 2020 and is the first in this city. It is located at 2235 S. Goliad St., near Interstate 30 and east of Lake Ray Hubbard. The center opened on Feb. 7.
“Rockwall’s new Breeze Urgent Care facility allows Texas Health to meet the healthcare needs of a growing North Texas region,” said Jamie Harraid, Texas Health vice president of Ambulatory Services. “Our centers are embedded in communities, so patients can access health services easily and quickly.”
The opening is part of Texas Health’s expansion of services in Rockwall County, where the population was listed as 116,381 according to 2021 U.S. Census figures — an increase of more than 38,000 since the 2010 census.
Currently, a $92.3 million expansion and renovation at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Rockwall is nearly doubling the size of the facility and bringing a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), a Cardiac Catheterization Lab and an expanded Emergency Department to the growing North Texas community. The hospital is a joint venture between Texas Health Resources and area physicians.
The Rockwall Breeze Urgent Care is the newest to open in North Texas. Three centers recently were added in Arlington, Denton and Fort Worth.
Breeze Urgent Care centers offer patients a personalized experience from the moment they walk through the doors.
“Patients are greeted by a personal clinical concierge, a point person who guides them through their entire visit,” Harraid said. “Patients are also seen by a Texas Health nurse practitioner or physician assistant who diagnoses their conditions, answers questions and provides treatment options.”
Breeze Urgent Care is tailored to people with active lifestyles and offers convenient hours 365 days a year. Patients can expect to be in and out in about 30 minutes — often with medications in hand.
Breeze Urgent Care accepts most major insurance plans and offers a competitive flat-rate fee of $185 for patients who don’t have insurance.
This model also brings healthcare services to existing and new patients who may not have a relationship with a primary care doctor or those who like the convenience of urgent care but are looking for a better model.
Patients can seek treatment for a variety of healthcare concerns, including allergies, earaches, sprains and most minor illnesses.
