Centers offer convenient, personalized services

ARLINGTON, Texas — Texas Health Resources has opened a Breeze Urgent Care center in Weatherford.

Breeze Weatherford

There are now 28 Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care centers across greater North Texas.

Located at 1980 S. Main St., it is the first Breeze Urgent Care center in the city and in Parker County.

The new urgent care center connects residents living in communities west of Fort Worth with the personalized care, upscale amenities and transparent, affordable pricing that are key to the Breeze Urgent Care model, which launched in fall 2020.

It is the 28th Breeze center to open in North Texas.

“Texas Health completely redesigned the traditional urgent care experience, providing patients the care they need, when and where they need it,” said Jamie Harraid, Texas Health vice president of Ambulatory Services. “Adding a Breeze Urgent Care center in Weatherford is part of our continued focus on providing safe, high-quality care to North Texans.”

In 2023, Texas Health added urgent care centers in Arlington, Cedar Hill, Fort Worth, Mansfield, Richardson and Rockwall. Earlier this year, Texas Health opened a Breeze Urgent Care in Burleson — the city’s first — and a fourth Breeze location in Dallas, serving Oak Lawn communities.

“Our Mission is to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve,” said Kathi Cox, chief operating officer, Ambulatory and Virtual Channel at Texas Health. “We are thinking beyond the traditional healthcare model and adapting to new models of care to support patients wherever they are with the transparency and convenience they deserve.”

Breeze Urgent Care centers offer patients a personalized experience from the moment they walk through the doors.

“Patients are greeted by a personal clinical concierge, a point person who guides them through their entire visit,” Harraid said. “Patients are also seen by a Texas Health nurse practitioner or physician assistant who diagnoses their conditions, answers their questions and provides treatment options.”

Breeze Urgent Care is tailored to people with active lifestyles and offers convenient hours 365 days a year.

Most major insurance plans are accepted, including Medicare. Breeze also offers a competitive flat-rate fee of $205 for patients who don’t have insurance, which can be ideal for people who may not have a primary care doctor or who like the convenience of urgent care but are looking for a better model.

Breeze providers can treat a variety of healthcare concerns, including allergies, earaches, sprains and most minor illnesses. Flu vaccines are available for $25, and school/sports physicals are available for $35.
