ARLINGTON, Texas — Texas Health Resources has been named to the 2024 Companies That Care® list by PEOPLE magazine and Great Place to Work® — taking the No. 61 spot.
The list highlights the top U.S. companies that have succeeded in business while also demonstrating positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier, according to Great Place to Work.®
“We live by Our Texas Health Promise: Individuals Caring For Individuals, Together, and being mindful and considerate of people and their life experiences and beliefs is central to that,” said Barclay Berdan, CEO, Texas Health. “We are committed to providing compassionate, quality care for our patients while helping our employees and communities thrive.”
This is Texas Health’s fourth time to be honored with this recognition.
“We are proud to be recognized for building and sustaining an organization that promotes the successes and best work of our team members as we serve our local communities,” said Carla Dawson, chief people officer at Texas Health.
The Companies that Care List is based on over 1.3 million employee survey responses and data from companies representing the experience of more than 8.2 million employees. More than a million surveys came from employees at companies eligible for this year’s list, and these rankings are based on that feedback.
The Companies That Care ranking is among multiple recognitions Texas Health recently has earned. In April, Texas Health ranked No. 29 on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For® list — the highest among health systems recognized in 2024. Also, Texas Health was among America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2024, earning five stars — the highest rating presented by Newsweek and the data firm Plant-A Insights Group for organizations with 5,000-plus employees.
