ARLINGTON, Texas — Texas Health Resources has opened a fourth Breeze Urgent Care clinic in Dallas, expanding access to the city’s Oak Lawn Avenue neighborhoods.
There are now 27 Breeze clinics conveniently located across the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The Breeze Urgent Care clinic model connects patients with personalized care, upscale amenities and transparent, affordable pricing.
The new clinic is at 2720 Oak Lawn Ave. and is one of 27 Breeze locations in North Texas. Oak Lawn Avenue runs through several Dallas neighborhoods, including Oak Lawn, Uptown and Turtle Creek.
“Texas Health completely redesigned the traditional urgent care experience, so patients get the care they need, when they need it,” said Jamie Harraid, Texas Health vice president of Ambulatory Services. “Our centers are embedded in communities, so patients can access health services easily and quickly.”
In 2023, Texas Health added centers in Arlington, Cedar Hill, Fort Worth, Mansfield, Richardson and Rockwall. On Jan. 2, Texas Health opened a Breeze Urgent Care in Burleson — the first for that city.
“Our Mission is to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve,” said Kathi Cox, chief operating officer, Ambulatory and Virtual Channel at Texas Health. “We are thinking beyond the traditional healthcare model and adapting to new models of care to support patients wherever they are with the transparency and convenience they deserve.”
Breeze Urgent Care centers offer patients a personalized experience from the moment they walk through the doors.
“Patients are greeted by a personal clinical concierge, a point person who guides them through their entire visit,” Harraid said. “Patients are also seen by a Texas Health nurse practitioner or physician assistant who diagnoses their conditions, answers their questions and provides treatment options.”
Breeze Urgent Care is tailored to people with active lifestyles and offers convenient hours 365 days a year.
Most major insurance plans are accepted including Medicare. Breeze also offers a competitive flat-rate fee of $205 for patients who don’t have insurance, which can be ideal for people who may not have a primary care doctor or who like the convenience of urgent care but are looking for a better model.
Breeze providers can treat a variety of healthcare concerns, including allergies, earaches, sprains and most minor illnesses. Flu vaccines are available for $25 and school/sports physicals are available for $35.
