ARLINGTON, Texas — Texas Health Resources has opened a new Breeze Urgent Care center in DeSoto.
The newest Breeze Urgent Care location is at 722 W. Belt Line Road in DeSoto.
The center, at 722 W. Belt Line Road, is the first for DeSoto. The center connects patients to convenient, personalized care, upscale amenities and transparent, affordable pricing — all key to the Breeze Urgent Care model that launched in fall 2020.
It is the 30th Breeze Urgent Care center in North Texas.
“Bringing Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care to DeSoto is part of our continued focus to provide safe, high-quality care to families who live and work in North Texas,” said Jamie Harraid, Texas Health vice president of Ambulatory Services. “The Breeze Urgent Care experience offers patients the care they need, when they need it and where they need it.”
In 2023, Texas Health added urgent care centers in Arlington, Cedar Hill, Fort Worth, Mansfield, Richardson and Rockwall. Earlier this year, Texas Health opened Breeze Urgent Care centers in Burleson, Melissa and Weatherford — the first for those cities. Texas Health also added a fourth location in Dallas, serving Oak Lawn and nearby communities.
“Our Mission is to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve,” said Kathi Cox, chief operating officer, Ambulatory and Virtual Channel at Texas Health. “We are thinking beyond the traditional healthcare model and adapting to deliver new types of care to support patients wherever they are with the transparency and convenience they deserve.”
Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care centers offer patients a personalized experience and convenient hours 365 days a year. Most major insurance plans are accepted, including Medicare.
Breeze also offers a competitive flat-rate fee of $205 for patients who prefer to self-pay. Providers can treat a variety of healthcare concerns, including allergies, earaches, sprains and most minor illnesses. When patients arrive at a Breeze Urgent Care center they are greeted by a personal clinical concierge, a point person who guides them through their entire visit.
Patients are seen by a Texas Health nurse practitioner or physician assistant who diagnoses their conditions, answers their questions and provides treatment options.
