Texas Health ranked No. 33

ARLINGTON, Texas — Texas Health Resources ranked No. 33 on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For® list in 2025 — the highest among health care systems recognized.

This is the 11th consecutive year Texas Health has been listed in the nationwide ranking.

“We are proud to be recognized for building and sustaining an organization that promotes the successes and best work of our team members as we serve our local communities,” said Barclay Berdan, FACHE, Texas Health’s CEO. “We are continually working to create a culture that embraces quality, exceptional service and innovation while helping our employees thrive.”

Fortune 100

Great Place To Work® and Fortune magazine compile the annual ranking, which focuses on how employees feel about their workplace.

The 100 Best Companies to Work For list recognizes companies that build a high-trust workplace environment, measured through Great Place To Work’s proprietary survey platform. Confidential feedback from more than 1.3 million employees in the U.S. is matched against human resources data from participating companies. Only companies with consistently high survey responses across the 60 statements comprising the Trust Index Survey are honored with placement on the list.

“Our strong culture ties back to Our Texas Health Promise: Individuals Caring For Individuals, Together,” said Carla Dawson, chief people officer. “We care about the overall health of our care team members and continually evaluate programs that uplift the mind, body and spirit.”

Texas Health employees have access to a well-rounded selection of health and wellness programs that can help them achieve a healthy and balanced life. Employees also get a generous 401(k) program with company match and paid time off that additionally covers volunteer work in their communities.

Employees are encouraged to speak up, share best practices and contribute ideas when there are opportunities to improve.

Texas Health earned several high-profile workplace awards in 2024. It ranked No. 3 on Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Texas list — the highest number for a healthcare system and North Texas-based organization receiving this recognition. The system was also among Fortune’s Best Workplaces for Women.

Last August, Texas Health was named to the 2024 Companies That Care® list by People magazine and Great Place to Work. Texas Health also was listed among America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2024, earning five stars — the highest rating —from Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group for organizations with 5,000-plus employees.
