The Texas Health Dallas PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency is a 12-month program affiliated with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy (TTUHSC-SOP).
It is designed to produce well-rounded, independent pharmacists through experiences in clinical practice as well as in teaching, basic clinical research, and pharmacy practice management. Our ASHP-accredited program has been operating for over 20 years and our curriculum is aimed at developing and strengthening resident’s skills in the inpatient and ambulatory care settings. Whether pursuing a PGY-2 residency or stepping into the role of a clinical pharmacist, our PGY-1 residency graduates will be able to transition seamlessly to become a member of a multidisciplinary patient care team and provide pharmaceutical care as needed to a vast array of patient populations.
