Program Specific Information
- The residency year begins on July 1 and commences on June 30 the following year (52-week program)
- If able, the residents are requested to complete the Texas Health Resources orientation the Monday prior to the program start date.

Employment and Stipend
- Stipend of $48,000 per year
- Opportunities for employment as a PRN employee of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas (THD)

Travel
- Residents are expected to attend ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting in December for candidate recruitment and research poster presentation. Residents are also required to attend TSHP Alcalde Southwest Leadership Conference in the spring where they will present their research project.
- Annual travel stipend is often available via TTUHSC for registration and one night hotel for the ALCALDE meeting (typically $500, based on fund availability)
- Additional travel funds may be available for ASHP Midyear Meeting and TSHP Alcalde Conference via THD (dependent on administration approval yearly)

How to Apply
Applications should be made through PhORCAS and we participate in the MATCH. Application deadline is January 6th annually.
The components of the application include:
- Graduated from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy with a Pharm.D. degree by the start of the residency year (July 1 annually).
- Letter of Interest (describe your interest in the residency program and your professional goals and objectives)
- Curriculum vitae
- Official transcripts from all pharmacy education
- Three (3) letters of recommendation (submitted through PhORCAS)
All residents MUST pass their licensure exams within 90 days of the residency start date.
