  • Pediatric Emergency Medicine (4 weeks)
  • Toxicology (4 weeks)
  • Critical Care (4 weeks; selective ICU^)

Elective Rotations:

  • Second ICU (not chosen as required ICU)
    • Medical ICU^
    • Trauma-Surgical ICU^
    • Cardiovascular ICU^
    • Neuro-Surgical ICU
  • Adult Emergency Medicine II
  • Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Stewardship
  • Leadership and Management

Longitudinal Rotations:

  • Disaster Preparedness
  • Drug Information and Education
  • ED Clinical Staffing*
  • Emergency Medicine Practice Management (ED committee involvement)
  • Medical Emergency Response
  • Pre-hospital Care (EMS ride-along)
  • Research

* Staffing Requirement: every third weekend and one major holiday (10-hour shifts)
