Texas Health’s Executive Health program focuses on delivering quality, patient-centered care that addresses what matters most to you — your health.

Comprehensive, regularly scheduled evaluations allow for early detection — where intervention can have the greatest impact, while also enhancing the quality of life and reducing overall treatment costs. The Executive Health program allows you to safeguard your health by offering:

  • Personalized, efficient and detailed attention
  • Excellent value and intentional cost savings

Your key to good health starts with scheduling an appointment with our clinical team.

Scheduling

Begin by scheduling an appointment. You may do this by calling 817-250-3933. Once you schedule your appointment, you will receive an email with a link to set up a MyChart account. MyChart is a secure patient portal that can be used to schedule and change appointments, receive lab reports and communicate with your health care provider. MyChart also contains questionnaires that you may fill out in advance of your appointment to save time.

Arrival and Registration

The Executive Health program is located at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth in the Harris Professional Center, Suite 50. Complimentary valet is available along with garage parking.

Prior to and during Your Appointment

The physical is divided into two separate appointments: Day 1 and Day 2. Both appointments last approximately 90 minutes to two hours. One-day appointments are available for regional and international traveling executives (allow four to five hours).

In preparation for your Day 1 appointment, please complete the health risk information and nutrition assessment forms. In addition, you will need to fast (from food and exercise) for 12 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Water is permissible.

Day 1

Day 1 will include a review of your medical history, biometric screenings, vision and auditory testing and comprehensive lab work including a mammogram or PSA as needed. Advanced labs may be performed and in-depth nutritional counseling provided, depending on the exam type you’ve chosen.

Day 2

Day 2 will include a resting and stress treadmill EKG test,* a coronary risk profile, lifestyle analysis, a physical, and physician consultation. During the consultation, the results of your Day 1 screenings, lab work and EKG will be reviewed. Afterward a dietitian will discuss nutrition recommendations and education to help with healthy lifestyle choices.

*Please bring or wear exercise clothes and shoes. A changing room and locker room with shower are available on-site.

After Your Appointment

Upon completion of both days, you will be notified by email to view your results in MyChart. You may also have a copy sent to your primary care physician.
