Rehabilitation Programs
When disease or injury disrupts your life, we can help you get back to living well. Our rehabilitation programs offer personalized care plans, compassionate support, motivation and education for lifelong care. Our goal is to help you or your loved one regain independence safely and quickly.
  • Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic therapy is a progressive exercise program set in a warm therapeutic pool. Using water’s buoyant and resistive properties, patients can regain an optimal level of range of motion, strength, muscle tone, endurance, balance, coordination, posture, relaxation and pain control.

  • Back and Spine Rehabilitation

People with long-standing back pain, post-spine surgery needs and back injuries from sports, work or recreational activities can find much-needed relief with back and spine rehabilitation. Physical therapists work closely with these patients and treatments may include stretching and strengthening exercises, postural training, McKenzie® Method, manual therapy and education to prevent further injury.

  • Balance Rehabilitation

Vestibular and balance rehabilitation is an exercise-based program designed to identify and treat the underlying causes of dizziness, vertigo and other balance problems. Our therapists understand these unique challenges and utilize the most current techniques to minimize medication use, prevent surgery and decrease the risk of falling.

  • Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac rehabilitation is made up of a series of personalized, prescriptive activities related to critical functions of heart health, such as exercise, education, dieting and lifestyle modification. The goal is to help you restore and maintain optimal health while helping to reduce the risk of future heart problems.

  • Hand Therapy

Hand therapy provides treatment for patients with hand, wrist, elbow, arm and shoulder injuries. Our Certified Hand Therapists understand the unique challenges and use current techniques to help patients regain upper body mobility and function.

  • Lymphedema Therapy

Lymphedema therapy is a comprehensive program for patients with chronic swelling of a body part that may have resulted from illness, physical trauma or surgery. Occupational therapists and physical therapists are trained in the treatment of lymphedema. Patients receive Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) which stimulates the lymphatic drainage system to decrease swelling.

  • Neurological Rehabilitation

Neurological disorders are conditions that affect the brain and nervous system. These conditions can impact a person’s balance, safety, endurance and independence. Neurological rehabilitation provides family and caregiver education and help patients find the right mobility devices to maximize functional mobility.

  • Orthopedic Rehabilitation

We are dedicated to providing comprehensive orthopedic rehabilitation services to patients recovering from injuries, illness and surgeries or those coping with a lifelong condition. Services meet a wide variety of rehabilitation and orthopedic needs, designed for patients of all ages.

  • Parkinson's Disease Rehabilitation

Parkinson’s Disease rehabilitation is a program performed by physical, occupational and speech therapists trained in Parkinson’s disease care. Patients who have trouble with movement, self-care, speech or swallowing learn techniques to retrain the body’s muscles to move and speak with greater freedom and improved control.

  • Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Pulmonary rehabilitation can help you improve your quality of life if you’ve been diagnosed with lung disease. Although pulmonary rehabilitation can’t cure your lung disease, you may notice that breathing is easier and you have less breathing problems.

  • Speech Therapy

Speech therapy helps patients improve their ability to communicate effectively and eat safely. Therapists treat patients with a variety of speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing deficits that could be a result of a stroke, brain injury, cancer or other neurological illnesses. Speech therapists also have training in diagnostic testing (for example, modified barium swallow studies) for swallowing and voice disorders.

  • Sports Medicine Rehabilitation

Sports medicine rehabilitation is the treatment and prevention of injuries related to sports and exercise. Therapists with training in sports and exercise provide individualized treatment plans to regain range of motion, flexibility, strength, balance, control, endurance and power. Treatment in our sports medicine clinic provides a path between injury and return to play for recreational or competitive athletes with the goal of enhancing sports performance.

  • Stroke and Brain Injury Rehabilitation

Therapy for stroke and brain injury is performed by a multi-disciplinary team that consists of physical, occupational and speech therapists. These specialists work in a one-on-one setting to maximize home and community independence by addressing functional, cognitive and physical deficits.

  • Vascular Rehabilitation

Vascular rehabilitation is a specialized exercise program that is medically supervised by a team of cardiovascular nurses, exercise physiologists and other personnel. Vascular rehabilitation is conducted in a hospital outpatient setting by qualified personnel who are trained in exercise therapy for peripheral artery disease (PAD).
